STBY news:

DENVER, April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Stansbury Holdings Corporation
(OTC Bulletin Board: STBY) announced today that it awarded a grant to
three students at Montana Tech for research into several aspects of
vermiculite, including its possible use in remediation and reclamation of
mines which produce acid rock drainage, known as "ARD". ARD pollutes streams
into which the mine drainage flows, and is often fatal to fish and other
wildlife which inhabit the streams.
The students, under the direction of Professor Bill Gregor, Ph.D., and the
administration of the Montana Tech Foundation, are utilizing exfoliated
vermiculite in laboratory and field tests at sites under the research
direction of Montana Tech.
Such a treatment of acid rock drainage with exfoliated vermiculite, if
proven to reduce the toxicity of the drainage from a number of mines in the
west, will offer an economical solution to a problem that has plagued
environmentalists, bureaucrats and mine owners for years.
The students will also provide a report containing recommendations for a
public education program to correct much of the current misinformation
regarding vermiculite and asbestos which is being published and disseminated.
The results of the study are expected to be reported in May.

Stansbury Holdings Corporation is a natural resource holding company,
whose website is www.stansburyholdings.com . Stansbury owns two large
vermiculite deposits in Montana, and is conducting mining and milling
operations on the deposit near Dillon, Montana.
