So you're still here, Nite-Man. God, you're loathsome. In fact, you're all loathsome, I feel quite sure. And selfish? You are all disgustingly, vilely selfish, following the example of the Nite-Man, who has to be forgiven, because any man whose mother is a subway whore has had a lot to overcome, and I must say, he deserves some credit for raising himself to the level of "Remover of Nite Soil," (as the bedpan orderly is so quaintly called in the Home.) Now you know the origin of his name, Nite Man. Try to put it from your minds asap. Poor Nite-man's father was so ill-favored in the genetic sweepstakes, being hideous of countenance, deeply stupid, and afflicted also with a scabby skin and pungent odor, that the wretch felt positively honored to sow his seed upon the fertile "ground" of the the pustular subway whore who bore him his only child, Nite-Man. He never was again accepted in sexual congress by any female (human being), and never had again the two dollars it would have cost to buy another whore of equal quality to Nite-Man's mother.
