I wrote 4 Msft May$80 puts and looks like assignment in the low $70s. Will add 400 more shares but not sure what price yet. Pre-mkt at $66 1/2 with almost 10M shares traded.

Anyone buy MSFT at the open? I'm tempted.

Sonny - I'm not tempted. I think there is too much uncertainty in this stock today. We could see dip buying - but then we could also see continued selling. Goldman and SG Cowen cut their ratings on MSFT this morning (http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/nm/20000424/ts/microsoft_reports_3.html) and I heard Lehman has as well. I guess I just don't view the current bid of 67 1/4 as indicating an urgent buy. Even if it bounces up 10 points today (which I don't think it will), I'm staying away from MSFT for awhile.
