I didn't say your speculations were unreasonable, just that I disagree. I assume that you disagree because you have other speculations about the origins of morality which you think more reasonable. I wish you would simply tell me succinctly how you think morality originated, and why you think those speculations reasonable. one cannot possibly fathom what aspirations might lie within human beings until subsistence issues are settled Why not? Subsistence-level cultures, and their systems of morality, have been abundantly studied.
