TO ALL:

An idea stuck me over the weekend (to follow up on MV's suggestion): can we use a trailing stop of some kind to lock in profits prior to MA crossovers? In other words, let the stop take you out, but the crossover put you into, a trade.

To this end: does anyone have handy the FORMULA for the "exponential" trailing stop? I'm not sure if that name is right, but I'm talking about the stop that moves up more quickly as the trend increases, but takes you out as the trend flattens...

TIA, TC.
