I'm sure it's a great idea.

Actually I bought COMS leaps this morning and added to my AMZN and QCOM positions (with tight stops). I'm buying into this MSFT created weakness however not with lots of conviction. Too many reports later this week... big buy time on Thursday all else being equal.

Leaps on MSFT. I think you're playing with fire. TOo much uncertainty for me.... but good luck ;)
- Linux compeition
- No penetration into the service providers
- Netscape and the browser wars not over yet
- DOJ - break-up? More lititigation
- Lotus, IBM, and directory... Msft has their hands full
- Unified Messaging? MSFT trying to change the world - will it work?

MSFT is fighting more major battles on more fronts than any one organization I can ever remember and with a large portion of the team leaving (or left) to retire - it's not pretty. And fwiw, Ballmer is not a leader that commands respect...but for that matter neither was Gates. Still, most stood in awe of him... they don't of Ballmer.
