Is Ballmer saying that MSFT can not thrive in a competitive environment to the extent that it has as a monopoly?

I am not prepared to answer this "larger" question right now. But from my L-T Tech-portfolio point of view:

The 200 Msft shares I bot at $75 were sold above $81. I sold the CSCO shares too and the pending CSCO-Jul-$55 short puts at $5 1/8 on Friday were not executed so I don't have any Csco exposure. I only have the 4 Msft short puts.

So I am interested in building up a long-term Msft position, slowly. Making any sense to you? Thanks.
