that could happen...we have speculated here already on the possibility of a collapse of the JGB market, as Japan's government gets mired in more and more debt and the economy refuses to recuperate.

another country that bears watching is China...it's in the midst of a deflationary collapse, and the communist leadership may well decide it's time to become creative to retain its grip on power.
