I called AWRE's IR people this afternoon. They are aware of the GSPN PR's.
They tell me that technically their full rate ADS is capable of 10Mbps G.Lite is also capable of substantially over the standard 1.5Mbps (didn't quote an exact top speed but said it was high).
The lady told me that a number of companies can match, or exceed, the GSPN quoted speeds (including AWRE). However the issue is the ISP's haven't got around to offering these kinds of speed yet. i.e. it is not a technical issue more a marketing issue. Most are still arround 640K...which is a true statement!

My translation: AWRE has NOT fallen behind they have match or exceed anything GSPN can offer in terms of software. Thats' great affirmation!

I expressed my pleasure with AWRE's business plan and execution but disappointment with the fact that the "awareness" of the company is minimal i.e. only about 5 analysts cover the company.
The lady told me I should be happy the company is making money, something few others in the industry can say. I said that is true but I would like to see announcements of new products being shipped with "aware inside" this would also mean a growth in royalties as earning would increase from product shipped.

My conclusion: this is a very focussed and well run company, which actively hates 'vapor" announcements and is steeped in it's academic achievements (software) and business achievements (wholesale to the usual blue chips Lu INTC etc etc).
They need more telephone calls from investors encouraging them to tell factual information to prospective investors. They obviously feel that their success will be recognised semi automatically.
