#1 Internet Home and Real Estate Network Towers Over Competition With Nearly 84 Million Total Minutes in March 2000
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Homestore.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: HOMS - news), the Internet's leading network for home and real estate related information, products and services, attracted 3,146,000 unique users during March 2000, the largest monthly audience ever recorded in the home and real estate category, which establishes a new benchmark in Homestore.com history, according to data from Media Metrix, the leading Internet measurement authority, which just released its latest report.

This record-setting performance by the Homestore.com network represents an audience twice as large as its closest competitor, and a 7% increase over last month.

The Homestore.com family of web sites also ranks #1 in the category of total site usage, as visitors spent nearly 84 million minutes on its network in March, a figure more than four times greater than its nearest competitor, and an almost 8% increase over Homestore.com's February 2000 performance.

Homestore.com continued its category-leading ``stickiness' in March, with the average unique user staying 14 minutes during each visit, a calculation based on average minutes/month divided by average visits/month, as reported by Media Metrix.
