Jack - You probably remember, back in Feb of '99, when I decided to lighten up on CPQ. I intended to sell half of my position, but had sold only 25% (at 47), when the famous "Mason Leak" occurred and the stock dropped into the low 40s. I got convinced by the bull chatter and decided to "wait it out" - the stock would be back in the 50s soon... Well, 18 months later it is at 25 and I'm still sitting on that position. I don't have as large a position with MSFT, but this feels a lot like that time... MSFT could be down for a while.
