Hey Alan:

I broke down and bought some MU puts (May 120's at just over 10---Mu at 126). It's a high price, I know. So far, MU showing lots of strength, but I don't see it holding...may be wrong, though.

Too late for me to buy ISSI puts---should have done it last week at 25-26. Earnings are today, I think and it could go either way but most likely down. I'd rather wait and buy the calls near 16-20 (May 22 1/2's for $1 or less, May 30's for 1/4).
I usually trade options only one month out. The key word there is trade. If I were going to hold a while, I'd probably buy out 6 months. I try and cut my losses at 30% and I sell half at 100% gain and let the rest run.

So far my timing today sucks: Should have bought intc at 110 and unloaded at 115. Same for IDTI at 38 to 41 1/2 and gone long MU at 120. Day trading is rough...need to keep position trading.
