Absolutely not. Occasionally I mention a company that I happen to hold. As a policy, I never sell, though I occasionally make donations of stock to charities. I own five or six companies on the telecosm list, as I have repeatedly disclosed. My biggest holding is Applied Materials, which I have held for around 20 years. I have held Qualcomm for seven years or so. I have relatively large holdings of Global Crossing, Atmel, and Conexant. I do not buy anywhere around the time of my letter; the usual span is months, and I rarely buy or sell at all. I do not receive any other compensation related to my companies. I have been on the board of Wave Systems for close to a decade and hold options there. The vast bulk of my wealth is in my own company and it will continue to thrive only as long as people believe that I am objective.
