OT: re options in IRAs: Dreyfus. I was holding the puts in the IRA account, so I was selling an option I owned, to close the transaction. Not sure if they'd let me sell puts if I didn't own them or the underlying. I looked at about 10 brokers when I set the accounts up a year ago, and Dreyfus allowed the greatest options in options in IRAs. They also have great transaction costs, and execution has been excellent. I've been very happy with them. edreyfus.com
