If I were trading NOPT that might be true.
But I am investing for the long term.
You can't possibly think Fiber Optics are dead.

This is a good company in a great industry.
For the quarter ended 12/99 they beat analysts
expectations by .06 cents. Almost 11% better than expected.

They have also been continually expanding their business.
It's expensive to do and costs them profitability but I
think it is a recipie for success in the long run.
Maybe not tomorrow, but instant gratification isn't
what I'm looking for.

Take a look at most of the stocks traders like and see
where they are in relation to where they were.
Very few stocks have escaped this crash unscathed and
fewer still that haven't taken a beating.

I don't want to put my money in low growth stocks
that will consistently underperform the
technology stocks. I consider these drops buying opportunities
once the bottom has been determined.
