Hi Everyone---I'm home again, but from the looks of the market, maybe should have stayed back there in DC where they had all the police, helicopters, flak gear, barricades, sirens, police cars and fire engines, etc etc etc....(for the IMF meetings last week....but with the Microsoft mess, and government intervention ALL the time on EVERYTHING....maybe they think they need extra protection back there....) WHAT a MESS! The market looked very bad on the 14th, but doesn't look any too much better today.

Wonder if the consumers really feel "protected" right now, especially if any of them have ANY stock, or mutual funds in
their retirement funds....Does the government really think the American people are just stupid???

I have 487 emails on the work computer this AM, and bunches of VM....but I have called WA Senator Gorton's office this morning --he was to have a press conference at 11 AM today....he has been opposed to the government action since at least 1998 (from using Metacrawler)...I asked if there was any place where we as citizens could just write in and say what we felt.....

Dawned on me that it would be good to start a new board "Microsoft shareholders opposed to the government and state governments PROTECTING us from bad ole' MSFT"... Maybe it would get some attention....Let me know if any of you do start one....

Also called (or have tried, anyhow) to call the White House to give them a piece of my mind....line is constantly busy, so probably there are others doing the same thing....
Number is 202-456-1111.....

Looks like you all have been having fun while I was gone....R~Hope Arthur is OK! Will try to read all the posts tonight to see what has been happening....Let's go out today and get more Easter candy....it will be 50% off today, and the way the market is going, we'll need all the help we can get...to say nothing of a sugar and chocolate high!!

Missed you All!! ~K
