<< If Juan Miguel should choose to stay in the US, he would be welcome anywhere by the 70% of us who think that it was right to return his son to his custody. >>

I think that it is closer to 99%, who think that Juan should have custody of his son. But, with the obvious anti-Cuban racism, on this thread, I think that most want to see Juan's family go back to imprisonment in Cuba.

<< Fortunately, Juan seems too reasonable to join the goose-stepping mob in Miami that's now attacking the police with baseball bats. >>

You are letting your racism show. "Goose-stepping mob"??? The incidents down here have been minor, although a MINORITY of individuals have caused trouble.

I live down here, and I am not Cuban. I feel perfectly safe walking out into the streets.

"Goose-stepping mob"??? Why are you so angry?

<< I know the heart of the wacky right wing goes a-flutter at the concept, but these are idealogues using violence to punish anyone who disagrees with them. >>

The only real violence was against them, by federal agents raiding an innocent family's home with machine guns and tear gas. The Cuban exiles have been down here for decades and have created a prosperous and peaceful society. Violence??? How about when Castro had two rescue planes shot down, just for the crime of trying to help innocent victims of Castro's regime, who were lost at sea?

<< Yet, Juan Miguel seems apolitical and if he believes that Cuba is the best place for his family, I would not stop him from returning there with his sons. >>

Apolitical??? This has nothing to do with politics, it has to do with living in slavery under a dictator. There is no political freedom in Cuba. Of course Juan is apolitical. He has no freedom to be political.
