Bill - I always watch insider sales on the companies I own. As a general rule, I discount sales of folks like Gates and Michael Dell - they can sell billions and still have that be a small part of their position. I guess we can put Larry Ellison in that category too.

Large sales of people lower in the pecking order can be a signal. At CPQ, Earl Mason sold his entire CPQ position just weeks before "leaking" that CPQ would miss earnings. He sold at 51 or so, the stock was under 30 within 2 months. I have not seen that kind of activity with current MSFT executives.
