The Bay of Pigs - cagle.com ... lol

"Castro comes out like a winner." - [from your post]

Yes, he's been the only winner so far, he could hardly avoid gains, handed as he was the high moral ground of opposition to child theft on a platter. That victory is his to lose.

And he will begin to lose it as soon as he gets what he says he wants, the return of Eli n to Cuba ... the world will not forget Eli n, we will follow the story ... and Castro is not going to like close examination of his interference with the right and duty of Juan Miguel to raise his family any more than the drunk and the fainter and their string-pullers do.

Mi hijo
anything that interferes is BS.

<< Anyway, those who don't like the Miami Cubans may have their own reasons. >>

Yeh, it's called racism.

<< . It's not necessary that they are still side with Castro. >>

One of Castro's main goals is to demonize and weaken the power of the Miami Cuban Exile community. Why? Because they are an outspoken and powerful enemy of his tyranny. Those who assist Castro in this, walk with this murdering dictator.

<< People got upset since the relatives did not obey the US law, and keep the kid from returning to Cuba with the father. >>

People are shortsighted. People don't remember when Elian was rescued from the ocean, traumatized, weak and dehydrated. People don't remember that Elian's father did not come to his son's side, FOR MONTHS. People don't remember that it was the nasty, mean ole Cuban Exiles who showed Elian love and caring, and nursed him back to health. People don't understand that the exile family was trying to unite their family. People don't remember that tens of thousands of Cubans have died trying to flee the tyranny in Cuba.

<< The relatives lose, the US government loses, the father loses, the kid loses, the mother has already lost. Castro comes out like a winner. >>

Castro has won little. He is already one of the richest men in the world, while his people go without.

The U.S. has lost a lot. That terrible photo, of the violent federal attack on a peaceful family, will embarrass our country for decades to come.
