I don't recall what Stock Operator had to say...

Anyway, I really do have a long term perspective (after all, I own MSFT and it's tough not to see the trouble they are facing right now). I do not expect to add shares to that holding, but who knows how things will look five years from now? Perhaps it will have proven a company (once again) in which to invest. One aspect of long term B&H is that you have to judge when things have really changed from a business, market, or other substantial operating standpoint. The "external" forces of DOJ are pretty substantial, I admit, but my inability to see that part of their future isn't enough for me to abandon this sinking MSFT ship. ;-)
