That's true. If you look at the bigger picture. NASDAQ stood at 1,700 in October of 1998. It's now nearly double that amount. So, things don't looks so bad in the bigger picture. But, NASDAQ 5,000 might not be reached for a long time. I'm not making any predictions, but take a look at history. The DOW first hit 1,000 in the late 60s and didn't return to 1,000 until the early 80s. Of course, we went through a lot of economic termoil in the 70s.

I just don't know what is going to propell us higher after earnings? The market is going to be fighting higher interest rates for the rest of the year and this quarters rosy earnings didn't give us much of a boost.
