Which Rick Sherlund is talking today? On April 12, he was quoted on Bloomberg saying the worst is behind them in terms of the quarter and the revenue weakness and kept Msft on his recommended list. Now he says the story is changed and lowers his rating to market outperform one week later.

:o)

re: "next 2 months, MSFT may go lower"

What changed your mind? We were supposed to hit 96 this week, right? After the conference call, you were still short-term bullish, saying everyone (except you) was misinterpreting the report, and it was just MSFT's usual lowering of expectations.

re: "No one can tell where the bottom is. May be 60, may be 55, may be 50, 45 or even the 20" You sure are an emotional guy. First you're absurdly over-optomistic, ignoring overwhelming and obvious bad news. Now, you're too cautious, and too pessimistic. I would strongly advise you never to use margin, or options, and certainly never invest any money you can't afford to lose. You don't have the personality for it.

Try this exercise:
1. Post only once a day. Briefly, state your opinions, and what you think will happen to the stock.
2. Once amonth, reread your past posts, and ask yourself: did it happen the way I thought it would? If not, why not? Post that, too, and reread those quarterly. You may discover some interesting patterns in your thinking. I could tell you what I think, but I don't think you'll believe it unless you discover it for yourself.

I heard that Judge Jackson could send the appeal straight to the Supreme Court, bypassing the Appeals Court. I'm not sure why. But if he can and does, the Supreme Court only reviews a tiny percentage of the cases sent to them. And they decide which ones to take before the term begins in October. If they decline to take the case during the summer, this case is over.

Soooo JohnD.....

Are you still buying buying buying??? I can recall ohhh about at least a dozen posts from you over the past weeks telling the board how you are will Buy at $85, $80, $77, and downward....

Well, remember what I told you not even two weeks ago, that you will have a lot of great opportunities to buy even more stock at even cheaper prices as the MSFT stock slowly slides into the $60s. Guess who once again is correct on MSFT's stock prices and future.

I will also tell you what I ahve been saying for 2 years. The worsts is still not over.

The lower and fast the MSFT stock goes, the more the snowball picks up speed down the hill. The "Cult-Like" confidence that the large money-managers have built up over all those previous great years are now being shaken to the foundation.

The MSFT employees that are paid by huge stock dividends and are one of MSFT's largest stock-holder group will increase their exersizing of their options to lock in what remaining value they have from their employer.

The companies in the computer industry that have ridden on MSFT's coattails will start realizing that their gravy-train is coming to a stop and they will start jumping off to a more stable coat-tail (open industry standards and away from MSFT's proprietary standards and attached product lines).

And I can go on and on and on and on.

The demise of MSFT as a Wall Street Juggarnaut which I have predicted for 2 years (When you all laughed at me) is coming to life and very fast. I have to say that I feel vindicated!

Johnd, I hope to picked up some really great deals on MSFT - IN YOUR OWN MIND! Keep buying MSFT! Hold Up this stock for the rest of the world.
