JDN,
You are right, I've re-read the release multiple times to
try to fully understand the implications. Global Centers
will use the new funding for growth/acqusitions. The
disposition of the remaining shares in the proxy share
increase for GBLX is still nebulous, at best.

exerpt from press release on Global Centers:

Global Crossing Ltd. currently intends to dispose of Global Crossing's retained interest in the GlobalCenter group following this proposed public offering in the form of additional GlobalCenter group stock. This disposition is expected to include a distribution in the form of a dividend to holders of Global Crossing?s existing class of common stock for a portion of such interest, but Global Crossing Ltd. has not yet determined the exact method and timing of this disposition.

JDN,
How do you rationalize this exerpt from the proxy statement?

",to allow our board of directors to designate our authorized share capital into two or more separate classes of common stock,"
