Sticking with the baseball analogy, men hit grandslams and strike out. Women tend to hit singles and doubles consistently.

chic,

And then there are some men who hit triples on a regular basis.....that's the group to which I aspire......a mixture of cajones and pragmatic conservatism.

Or like Desmond Morris says:

Almost all geniuses are man, the problem is that also almost all of the idiots are man.

Re: But I bet when a man has a good ROI, its much, much higher than the average ROI for a woman!

Ted,
Sticking with the baseball analogy, men hit grandslams and strike out. Women tend to hit singles and doubles consistently.

I've recently heard that women get a better ROI but before that I heard they get worse because they invest too conservatively. Men would buy a higher % of stocks (either individually or through a mutual funed) while women would go more for bonds and CDs and such. Perhaps both have gotten more agressive with the result that men have become to aggressive (on the average) and women have moved closer to the ideal amount of agressiveness.
