ptanner - that's a start, but it's still targeting Wall Street. I'm talking about when people walk into a store, what do they ask for. They ask for Intel. That's why the ads for Best Buy, Circuit City, etc feature Intel probably 7 or 8 to 1 over AMD.

Branding. Quality. They can't BRAG that they're faster than Intel, because that race may very well leap frog. And if Intel has the FASTEST processor soon, even if they can't produce it in volume - AMD will have to take that billboard down "In a New York minute". I'll bet you Jerry wrote that copy.
