Since you asked ... :)

1) MSFT is getting hurt by the government.
2) QCOM is getting hurt by the Japanese companies and government.
3) GMST is getting hurt by the cable companies.


The news about the first two is fairly recent. Gemstar's relationships with the cable companies have not deteriorated; they've never been good. Wait until set-top boxes are available in your nearest consumer appliance store in July when the cable companies' customers have a lot more to say about what goes inside their set-top box.
