I went to look for his name, and I found: "The Rebuttal From Uranus"

ourworld.compuserve.com

This page is exclusively for the critical review and analysis of the enormously popular (as puzzling as that may be) self-help book Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus: A Practical Guide for Improving Communication and Getting What You Want in Your Relationships (New York: HarperCollins, 1992). Despite its promotional hype, at its very core it is a sexist, patronizing, male-centered invective which does little more than perpetuate long-held negative gender stereotypes. Infomercials, popular magazines, the existence of a WWW site, television appearances and published spin-offs by the author, John Gray, have made this book appear undisputed in its broad claim to improve communication between men and women. Unassailable it is not and thus there is a very sincere need to rebut the arguments put forth by John Gray.

What Causes a Mid-Life Crisis

A much discussed transition point is the mid-life crisis. It generally occurs when a person is around forty-two. Before people feel they can freely give back to their communities, they must be full within themselves
When it's time to move and you are not full, instead of moving forward you will begin looking back to all that you did not get. A man may suddenly want the freedom to sell his business and go mountain climbing. Or if he is married, he may feel the longing to be with other women. If he has been conservative in his life, he may want to buy and drive a fast car or have something he wanted in his teens or twenties but never got. He will reevaluate his life and his priorities. Quite often he will want to throw off the responsibilities that make him feel old.

The areas in his past where he feels he sacrificed himself or he did not get what he needed will give rise to a growing dissatisfaction. To move on in his development, his challenge is to get what he needs without creating chaos in his life or hurting the people he loves. There are ways to fill his love tanks without disrupting his life.
