Joe, regarding price points... This is the third iteration of the OS, but the first release of Pocket PC with the added multimedia functionality such as the MP3 player, "Cleartype" with the Pocket Reader, Pocket Explorer, full-fledged MS Office support (for Word and Excel),... There is clearly a premium to be paid for this added functionality which is not available on Palm. Also, if you compare a 16 bit color LCD screen from Casio with Palm's current attempt at a color screen you will see what you are getting for the money. These devices will head the same direction as digital cameras 3 or 4 years ago and MP3 players over the last 18 months... ...improved functionality at lower and lower cost to the consumer. Ausdauer
