Lott, Armey, Daley... Geez, to put that motley crew in poker parlance, that's 3-of-a-kind that can't beat Ace-high. <g> which imbecile will be the first to fall? It's just a matter of time. Someone else remarked the GOP righties are frothing at the mouth even more than usual over this issue. The right wing sputum is even more concentrated than in the past. I think it is based on a false conclusion that making a vitriolic stink about this situation will win the White House and congressional seats. To extend the Vegas metaphor, It's almost like they have put all their political chips on the Black-13 square of hate for a winner take all election win this fall. On the contrary, there will be a well-deserved backlash as the message the public will take is that the far right wingers firing these verbal scud missles is the mainstream GOP. How else can you explain why Bob Smith throws Marisleyes in front of a mike? Because she can spew xenophobic venom on command that puts even Rush to shame. Heck, they may as well have her keynote the GOP convention. Howz about the Little Havana Thought Police lead the convention with a rousing Pledge of Allegiance? (Don't forget the cue cards)
