Remember when VARL was $6 per share?
How did that ever happen?

**32% of new orders were subscriber? Indication of how it will shift?**

Actually the second part was more a statement than a question. 32% of this quarter's orders were LMDS, MMDS, cell phone, pager related (mostly LMDS and MMDS I believe -- Robert can probably confirm). However, the 1st quarter's actual revenue was probably only comprised of probably 10-15% of these product lines. Thus, the large percentage of related orders indicates that this sector will grow as a percent of revenue in future quarters.

The orders themselves were somewhat predictable given the announcements by folks like ADAP, MCI, etc. on their LMDS, MMDS rollouts. The real question is: how well will these rollouts continue? I honestly have no clue and hope that Robert can share some insights.

My feeling is that David Sherman expressed his outlook as bullish as he possibly could.

FWIW

Jeff
