Dear Ms.........

What is your last name, anyway? (You can make one up, so I have something to call you). And why don't CPAs have a title, like Drs and Reverends do? How about Digitator? And why aren't you on the beach in Mexico, (sipping margaritas and ogling the pretty boys), now that the seasonal number-bending is over? Or are you getting revved up for the audits? I did my own number-torturing this year, and filed the afternoon of April 17. Ughh.

Let's start over:

Dear Digitator Abbigail,

here's my favorite statistic:

66/1.68= trailing PE of 40.
And: 38= low PE for MSFT during Internet Era.

I find the past easier to predict, than the future. It doesn't change as much. So, I rely on longterm historical patterns, when picking stocks and buy-prices.

I prostrate myself before the God of Margin-Of-Safety,
offer burnt sacrifices to the two-faced Goddess Reversion-To-The-Mean,
and buy buy buy.
