John I think the real problem is that there is too much unknown re DS-CDMA. As investore we need to know exactly what the situation is. To date the big debate has been would Q collect DS royalties, we all know the answer is yes.
Past that we don't know squat. I would like to know:
1. Does Q in fact have a DS chip in development
2. What is the time frame of its release and how does that compare to the competition.
3. Exactly who pays who royalties and how much.
4. If the rest of the world does in fact go with DS where does that leave Q, revenue and earnings wise.
5. Does Q need third parties to produce a DS ASIC.

I agree it is easy to blow things out of proportion but matsumoto drop a bombshell on us all today and I think some repairs are in need from management. Uncertainty in this market is a killer. Q's value is in part due to the fact that they are years ahead of their own licensees, that is why they are all buying from Q with the one exception.

I feel Q's DS phobia is due to the fact that they don't have nearly the technical edge if any at all in DS. This severly lessens Qs dominance when it comes time to selling ASICS.
