marginmike, yes, the Iraqi oil is in the market, but I think their production is still way down on capacity [with a bit of well refurbishing and pipeline renovation] and peak production before 1990.

On Microsoft, I didn't think the government would so quickly demolish Microsoft - well they haven't yet, but the threat was enough to panic the shareholders and stampede the markets. I thought I'd sell Q! before all that but I guess now I just have to hold and hope the Supreme Court tells that crazy Jackson, Joel, Janet Klan that it is unconstitutional to wreck such a high-achieving company.

Alan Green$pan will be green with envy. He's jawboned and carried on for years trying to calm the markets down and slow the USA economic growth rate. Jackson does it with one absurd decision. Of course actual economic destruction was NOT what Alan Green$pan hoped to achieve. Jackson and co are not so worried about minor matters like $$trillions of economic value in the USA being destroyed and taking more with it from other countries.

The frighteners are well and truly on the Nasdaq now. Any minute and the Dow will go out in sympathy when the Nasdaq starts to feel a bit close to home. Portfolios overlap and it is NOT simply a Nasdaq issue.

I'm going for the ride down!

Who can lose the most votes? The Republicans by supporting illegal immigrants who defy parental custody decisions or the Democrats who are destroying the economy via absurd 'anti-trust' decisions where there are no 'trusts'! I think the average joker in Preoria will be more annoyed at his retirement fund being obliterated than some Cubans doing something stupid. Therefore, Democrats lose so far!
