well, they keep on going nowhere actually. the wedge in the XAU is quite large and obvious however. the PoG itself seems to be stuck at the lower end of its recent range, and i think the crowd that's short via cheap gold loans and derivatives is trying its best to keep it there until the Swiss CB gets on with its sales. if you look at the frequent violent spikes, that's typical for a market that's overly short...note the supply/demand fundamentals are quite intriguing with the Washington agreement limiting European CB selling. it's like the NAZ in reverse....
