When I hire counsel (not council), I can take or leave the advance that attorney gives to me. How can a 6 year hire counsel, and then decide knowledgeably whether or not to accept that attorney's advice, fire that attorney and hire another one, etc?

Can you explain how the "client" can meaningfully instruct counsel when the client is six?

Clinton is shredding the Bill of Rights with impunity. Wake UP!!!

You're the one not answering the alarm clock here. Clinton enforced the law. Your problem lies in your apparent notion that you know better about a father's rights than the actual father. So much for your notion of family values. And BTW next time you find yourself about to excoriate bleeding heart liberals over the incursion of government into people's lives, do try and remind yourself of your readiness to deny Elian to his father all in the name of "you know better".

Think they will rev up Starr again for another partisan go at Clinton for enforcing the law?
