IMO, any Dell warning would be very harmful to any recovery for the Naz....We should see a good day today/Wednesday.....rally could get an additional boost if gvt. data (Thursday) comes in lighter than expected...market has priced in some pretty bad assumptions...having said that...if the data comes in WORSE than expected.....rally is probably over...

Of course, Intel comments on Thursday could help...but surely Dell can make their little-ol' .16 (that's not a lot to ask.....) Gabriel, if they don't....Dell's credibility on the Street will almost totally be shot...Would management be so callous? (After last October's "debacle" and problems in January?)...

Ralph Bloch of Raymond James...who called the recent correction...said this morning that we have doubled bottomed...yesterday, we came close enough to the 3321 first-bottom...it happened on low volume, and negative sentiment (both good....the low volume, meaning sellers all dried up).......the rally (yesterday afternoon) was on good enough breath...that Ralph says that was it....he is looking for a choppy rally over the next couple months..

(My comment) From today's action, its clear that margin selling pressure has eased....if it were still severe, we would be struggling today..also, tax selling out of the way..that was 2 of the 3 legs of the recent downturn...(or the severity thereof)

Now, Ralph called the double-bottom today AFTER reading my post (around 4:30 PM yesterday) of the potential double-bottom in place <G>....Good inflation data on Thursday can set us off/up again....We'll see...
