David,I can se some similarities in ours systems,mine gave me a weak buy signal for today afternoon or tomorrow.
I do not have to much of statistics for the bear market so far,but in the recent Nasdaq rally,it was working fine.
My system is more designed fo a day trading, but I am trying

How do you interpret today's market action in the context of your model's -19% reading following yesterday's close?

I'm not trying to be cute, just genuinely interested in how you see this - increasing volatility shortly before a major decline, or a potential failure of the model.
