Andreas-- alias Yang (or is it Ying?),,, Numbers are easy to digest,,, Simple adding or subtracting is all these amount to. Therefore it seems the 'info' is what time is needed for. A simple .16 from operations (+ a few pennies from investments) and a fwd statement so hot it would make a prostitute blush would do the best for the ST and LT of the share price. And make for a house (of ill repute) full of happy shareholders and analysts....

<So, let me say, congratulations, birds of a feather flock together. We are like ying and yang. Like-thinking people we are - you and i. Uh, c___, >

...If you like Pina Collada, and taking walks in the Rain....

The 3:30 announcement time is nothing more than CPQ being extremely forward thinking in their strict compliance with SEC rules:

Remember, whatever "leaks" aka selective disclosures there are, if any, would NOT go first to the stockholders on this thread.

Prior to this 'after market closes' announcements were made to allow the information to disseminate. But with the de facto instiutional use of afterhours trading, CPQ has determined that the fairest time to release is when trading is still possible for most people.

Nothing more, nothing less. IMO.
