We're not letting the DoJ restructure the computer industry, Dale. We're letting the DoJ let SUN MICROSYSTEMS (and 'open standards') restructure the computer industry. --- Haven't you gotten *anything out of reading this thread? -JCJ

Re: "I can't believe we are going to let the DOJ and a bunch of DOJ lawyers restructure the computer industry."

There's more to the computer industry than Microsoft, which is all that's being restructured. The rest of the industry, and the consuming public, will benefit.

JMHO.

Completely agree...

A bunch of high-handed bureaucrats in washington, run by the most ethically challenged president in recent history, are going to restructure the computer industry, admired and envied by all other countries in the world...

The europeans are dancing, they hate americans and their "Anglo-Saxon" dominance. Now, they see stupid americans shooting themselves in the head.

I GUARANTEE you that you would NEVER have seen France, Germany, the UK or any other major power (including Japan) attack "it's" own Microsoft, like you yanks just did.

All the major countries left out of the IT industry, with their "national champions" like Bull, Olivetti, Siemens etc are LAUGHING Dale, at american stupidity.

Oh, and BTW, if the MSFT thing had not blown the markets 3 weeks ago, our beloved SUNW would be trading at OVER $ 100, along with everything else not having been cut 30-50%.

Take care
Jean

I can't believe we are going to let the DOJ and a bunch of DOJ lawyers restructure the computer industry.

Like we all banded together to rally behind the cause of keeping ATT together?
