I don't remember meeting you here but I've gotta respond to your comment about Siebel.

Surefire pick price/safety ratio....
SEBL, these days I have to place emphasis on the denominator of the ratio.


Your comment coincides exactly with my realization that Siebel has held up much better in this tech wreck than I would have thought. The stock is "only" 37% off its highs when some enterprise software stocks are 50% to 70% off their highs. Having retraced 37% is especially commendable considering that the Nazdaq has slipped nearly that much, 30%. It makes me wonder if the market is beginning to think of Siebel as more predictable and thus less risky than in the past. If that's the case, your comment about placing importance on safety rings loud and clear.
