Yeah, no matter what happens today we're still in a technical downtrend but a good day on the Naz spills over to the multitude of stocks showing those potentially good patterns.

Those stocks need a good start and that early gain needs to stick. As far as the Naz...too good an open might create another gap up that will have to be filled. Gap ups are bullish but the Naz seems to use the normal fill process as an excuse to tank.

Volume will be a key, look for half a billion after one hour of trading to see if a gain (if any) looks like it might be accumulation rather than covering.

This is another very important day in the short term technical picture.

I think we get a pretty decent rally here in the next week or two...then a significant dip early summer. Problem is if we have to retest lows (or support), I want the lows or the support we test or retest to be ones already defined...2900 or 3200 etc.
