Absolutely: if we don't learn from experience, when will we learn? Last year I sold great companies at horribly depressed prices during my May margin calls. (And thanks to the people who helped me through that time and urged me not to give up on the market!) This year I sold great companies at depressed prices so I wouldn't GET a margin call. In both cases I could have gotten out of margin when I had lots of money and sold those great companies at ridiculously inflated prices instead!!!!!! Each year I get a little closer to "getting it right". Next year I will. You too? We'll have to remind each other when we are in the midst of Dec-Jan euphoria! Freeus
