Steven, According to the dictionary, a creed is "A formal statement of religious belief: confession of faith." I have never seen an Atheist who held any religious beliefs. I would be interested to know what Atheists have faith in. Themselves, perhaps? Faith means an allegiance to something. To what do you feel the obligation of allegiance toward? I have never heard one of you express such a concept. Admittedly the "decent life" thing was a subjective comment based on my own opinion of Atheists, or Agnostics, that I have been in heated discussions with. There are, no doubt, decent people among any group. ~H~
