Thanks for the response. I basically agree with what you said. I know AMD is still fighting a tough uphill battle against Intel. AMD's room for error is very small. But if AMD has five record breaking quarters and produces competitive processors across the spectrum well into 2001, AMD can maintain a 25 P/E with S&P 500 average growth rate and profit margin. Even Willy performs a little better than Mustang, I still think AMD will be just fine (average in S&P 500). What I worry the most is the new president wants to be the smart one and wreck the economy. Then all bets are off.
