Based upon the fact theat the Q is totally indifferent to CDMA2000 and WCDMA in terms of financial performance, I would find it difficult to agree with you that the Q is fighting the world <in a sense.>

Q is blistering the concept of WCDMA because the technology is inferior to CDMA2000. They want to accelerate the adoption of 3G services since it will accelerate their opportunities as wireless customers switch from GSM to CDMA based service. NOK wants to slow down the evolution to 3G because they will no longer dominate the wireless world.

Given the incredible long term improvement in the fundamentals for the Q and CDMA, the crater in the market has provided a great long term opportunity for shareholders to make money (even though for many of us it will simply be getting back lost ground for awhile.)

Mq, Is 10 bil for the whole build out, such as spectrum buying land, building towers? The other players have the land where as the Q! will have to find it and buy it. When I see those out-sized bids in euorpe isn't it just for the spectrum? Is it done differently in Japan?

Thanks,

Greg
