WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- Shares of Microsoft headed higher in European trading on Tuesday after Monday's rout on reports that U.S. trust busters favor breaking up the company.

Microsoft rose 1 5/8 to 68 1/4.

Shares plunged nearly 16 percent on Monday as more than 121 million shares changed hands, even as company executives scoffed at the idea of splitting the company.

I wouldn't be too euphoric about pre-market. I would be looking to sell into strength to get my money out. Fundamentals look bad notwithstanding the legal problems. MSFT might bounce at the open but they stand on "shaky" ground.
