RE: lumping

No, Chaz - I wasn't lumping you into any category. I simply clicked on your post to respond rather than dig back to look for any others since you mentioned you had gone 100% in cash or near that amount ten days ago.

My technical analysis comments come from what I was reading on various message boards and in the 'sound bite/news bite' clips I skimmed late last night and early this morning. Plenty of mechanical investors and technical analysis investors over at the Fool that buy and sell based on the data they follow - some of whom even admit they know nothing about the company beyond the ticker symbol. This is in dire contrast to gorilla gaming as we all know, but it tends to have a direct result on some of our favorite 'ticker symbols'....

No doubt that selected technology will indeed rebound over the months and years ahead as it has in the past. Time, it simply takes lots of time and that's why we remain investors over the longer term. I'm happy to report that my son is playing the role of the "hare" in his class play 'The tortoise and the hare". He's all memorized and ready to go. Dad will stick to the role of the tortoise and hope that the play has an 'influence' on my son's future. <ggg>
