Rande: I would have to agree with you:
People tend to use what they know and were first introduced to. I have use several and find myself returning to what I call,"feels natural" every time. However, the next generation will probably be taught on newer versions etc. and things will evolve. One thing you can be sure of is that with Technology as with life, the only thing that remains constant is change.

Finally all green on my screen. I needed that today after so much negativity. As if techs at or near their bottoms down 50-80% are bad investments. What kind of recovery rally do you guys think we can get now?

Thanks for the informative response. I, too, believe that the Linux OS will be a formidable force for MSFT to compete with down the line.

I'm also guilty of being an AMD fan. I upgraded my computer with the AMD K7 chip instead of the Intel P-III.
