Let me quote you:

"Now there is a new "Holy War" focused on "WCDMA" in general and Japan in particular."

What is "new" about this war? W-CDMA has been in development for years. You maybe haven't been aware of the competition of various 3G standards. But it doesn't mean that the competition is new.

It's old. It has been going on for years and now we are very close to the conclusion.

And it's far, far too late for cdma2000 to start fighting back now. The markets probably decided last year how this fight would end. We are just seeing the results being announced.

So presenting the 3G fight as "new" is as far from reality as you can get. The game is almost over. And certain companies seem to be waking up to this fact only now.

That's newsworthy.
