Mike:

On the notion that their estimates are no better'n mine, and mine are my own, here we go.

Q1/Q1, Qcom went from .11 to .22....a double
Q2/Q2, Qcom went from <.07) to .25...a .32 gain.
Q3 Q earned .09 in '99, if it can match the Q2 Gain, it's .41 (Multex says .28)
Q4 Q earned .18 in '99, if it can match the Q2 Gain, it's .50...against a forecast .54.

The Multex forecast for Q3 is .09 to .28...better than a triple, and that in 99, Q4 was double Q3. Repeat for Q4 in '00, then we have .56.

So, I can mix and match and add these up to get either $1.38, $1.41, or $1.43. Throw in a nickel surprise for Q3 and Q4 and you're in $1.50 territory.

Might not happen, but I don't think I'm out there in la-la land. Not your kind of homework, Mike, so in reality I probably haven't saved you any effort at all.

The reason I say that is because I hope you'll comment on what I've arrived at. <gg>

Chaz

PS: If Q3 comes in at .41, a .56 Q4 would be a disappointment.
